nobody's seen silent hill?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!

has my wish finally been granted and everyone has me on ignore!

Silent Hill is one of my favorite movies of all time. Just incredibly creepy and awesome atmosphere, music, everything. I can't believe, and still can't, that the sequel to it is filming and Bean and company are all back. Silent Hill is a horror movie done unlike nearly all other horror films, relying far more on atmosphere than anything else. Closest comparison I can think of is Event Horizon, another of my favorite horror films. Of course, I was a huge fan of the games long before the movie, so maybe that impacted my thoughts. It's still excellent.

I don't know why they didn't put Silent Hill 4: The Room on the new compilation disc for PS3. I've never played that one and was hoping it would be on the new disc.

Probaby because it isn't a SH game. It was originally developed as a new horror title, then changed at the last minute to force in some SH mythology. It's not a good game, and is as un-SH like as far as setting, lore and story as you can imagine. I'm sure the team behind SH wishes they could erase that one for good.

bout to watch silent hill ... is it good?

well i guess that's a stupid ass question, because anything sean bean is in is good.

Silent Hill is awesome, Radha Mitchell is super hot, and its based on Centralia, PA.

Source Code is sick, just plain sick. See it now!

Understood. I've never played it, but I wondered why it was set in a room and not the town like the other ones.

Which reminds me. Here is a video of all the Final Destination deaths up to date. Its a gory, NSFW video but could be a refresher.

I found this on another forum and after watching it, its definitely funnier than scary/shocking. The deaths are so ridiculous.

Finally watched Anchorman.

I know, I know.

But hey, it was awesome!

OMG I loved that movie. In an interview I saw somewhere, Will Ferrel said that Anchorman was is favorite of all the movies he's done. The West Side Story style gang fight was the best.

Major scene spoiler for The Dark Knight Rises...

audio of Bane... plus location of one of the movies major set pieces... don't watch unless you want to be spoiled.

I know people will nag about his voice... but I think he kind of sounds like The Elephant Man... educated, but creepy as freak.

As for those who have watched it, I'm sure some of you are happy about Heinz Field getting blown to bits.

Here's a link to the overhead shot of what the set looks like after things happen. Pretty neat.

Fright Night was a really fun movie.

Definitely would recommend that for a date night.

Megashark vs. Crocosaurus on Syfy tonight. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Megashark die in Megashark vs. Giant Octopus?   I won't be able to see if it's the same one since I'll be at the game.

Dinoshark is on right now.

I didn't look at the spoiler but I know Bane breaks Batman's back in the comics.
