I don't know if you guys can see it in the States, but "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" is a ton of fun. In each episode 3-4 magicians try and fool Penn & Teller, and although a couple of them can be dull or overlong, some are truly brilliant. And then at the end P&T do a trick of their own. Also, the host speaks entirely in sexual double entendres.

Ah, nothing beats Saturday afternoon movies on TV.

Saw Double Jeopardy for the 10th time, really good movie.  Doesn't hurt Ashley Judd is smoking hot and Tommy Lee Jones is a badass!

Amen brother. Have you watched High Crimes? Another Judd classic, not a world beater, but perfect for a bit of Saturday night entertainment when you can't be arsed. Bit like settling and taking home an easy girl because the hottie will require more effort than you're willing to give. Still enjoyable though.

not that impressed with the amazing spiderman trailer.

i mean honestly the one with tobey didn't come out all that long ago and it wasn't as bad as bana/connely's hulk compared to norton's.

dark knight rises should be sick, but i think they are making a huge mistake just doing a trilogy.

I'm not feeling the new Spiderman either. I'm willing to give it a chance, but the trailer is not that impressive. Oh, as far as the other Spiderman movies..I can't forgive them for crapting all over Venom like they did in 3. Unexcusable.

no i agree.  the way they did 3, it wasn't even entertaining.  1 was okay (i'm a willem dafoe fan), 2 had the chance to be outstanding (but was pretty good), 3 - i liked the dual/trio villans but they all half assed it.

saw Cars 2 tonight, good movie but not great, best part was the preview for the new Muppets movie with Jason Segal and Amy Adams.  Segal and Nicholas Stoller (who directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall) wrote the new movie.

I'd watch Amy Adams in Gerald Ford: The Musical. I'd watch Amy Adams in A Short History of Bread Mold. I think you get the idea.

Captain America was a lot of fun.
Just got back from it.  And I'd agree, it was a lot of fun.  But I can't help but thinking that fight scene at the end, they just borrowed the old Star Wars set where the ewoks are fighting the Empire and when Luke and co. are saving Princess Leia from the trash chute.  It looked awfully similar to me.  Still fun, none the less.

It would be better if it had zombie nazis.

After visiting Disney World earlier this month and riding Splash Mountain, I have been wanting to see Song of the South again. Unfortunately it STILL isn't available on either VHS or DVD in the USA and likely won't be any time soon, and all the copies I can find on eBay are PAL versions that won't play on an NTSC VHS machine. Guess I'll have to watch what I can find on YouTube. Parts of it are on there, at a minimum.

I last saw it at the old movie theatre that used to be at Loehmann's Plaza sometime in the early 1980s.

I managed to obtain a copy. Hopefully I can find 90 minutes to watch it some upcoming weekend.  :D

Just finished watching it and I have to say I enjoyed it. It feels like a good mix of genres that all play off well. I definitely recommend it to others. Would watch again.
