Official Reviews hated Hangover 2. Many people liked it though. I go based on peoples views rather than "official" reviews. Sounds completely opposite of why they are there but I feel that the official reviews go steps to far to bash a movie.

i've talked to friends who said it was forced and just played.

i heard all the hype of the first film - wasn't buying it from the commercials i saw - and finally sat around and saw it on ondemand.

i said 11 minutes into the movie, i should not have waited this long to watch this movie.

i hear this one, you won't get that response.

I mean I'm sure this movie blows compared to the first but if its a comedy, I doubt it takes itself seriously also.

I mean 33% from Official Reviews on Rotten Tomatoes... 97% from Viewers Opinion though. That's pretty damn high.

good to hear.  i'm probably going to see it monday with the nats having an off day, but with the way they are playing, i could just go see it during a nats game.

How was True Grit?  My buddy wants to head to Wally World after work to pick it up and watch it tonight.

Green Lantern next week

Just saw Super 8 this afternoon. Really good flick, was well worth seeing. Recently I've seen Fast Five, Super 8 and the new X-Men movie, was happy with all of them.

17 years late, but I finally saw The Crow last night.

I think I would have enjoyed Brandon Lee's acting career.

that's awesome.

i'll wait for Fast Five to come out to DVD/On Demand ... but i'm planning on seeing Super 8 and X-men on Monday.

I have been so excited for Super 8 for three years now.

Ah, nothing beats Saturday afternoon movies on TV.

Saw Double Jeopardy for the 10th time, really good movie.  Doesn't hurt Ashley Judd is smoking hot and Tommy Lee Jones is a badass!

I saw they're making a movie of "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and got all excited.  That was one of my favorite childhood books.  But when I saw the synopsis, I got all sad.  I'd rather see it stay closer to the book.  It didn't need a makeover, boob job, new hair-do and botox.  I don't think I'll see it.

When I saw the preview I felt kind of bad for Jim Carrey.

For whatever reason nothing I know about Super 8 makes me want to see it, especially the typical "omg what's going on?" Abrams trailer/commercials.

I really enjoyed the movie. It reminded me a lot of Stand By Me meets E.T. plus some other things. In my opinion, it's one of the best movies I've gone to the theater to see in a long, long time. I'll watch it again when it comes out on video.

Moneyball trailer

Looks just weird. I don't see how a good movie can come out of the story of computer analysts trying to win baseball games, especially given that they made the playoffs without actually getting to the World Series or anything. And now the A's are worse than we are. And Jonah Hill looks preposterous. But then again, it is Aaron Sorkin, and Aaron Sorkin is a genius...

If Sorkin can make Facebook work... he can make Baseball work.

So I'll trust him.

You have to watch any movie with Brad Pitt and Philip Seymour Hoffman, but the storyline with the kid is moronic Hollywood pap.

You never watch brilliant acting in a mediocre movie, like Rachel Getting Married. That movie had infinitely more naked Anne Hathaway than Moneyball will, but still . . .
