He's not getting sent back down. The purpose of this season is to develop players to be ready to compete for a playoff spot next year. He can't do that in Triple A.

Bring him up and give him as much time as possible to adjust to MLB pitching.

As a member of this organization, he's got to understand service time manipulation. That said, decent chance things look different after the deadline Tuesday, especially re: Lane Thomas.

Do not distort Crews's development for a chance that next year he might win Rookie of the Year. Bring him up when he is ready. I think he is ready now. Maybe the team is figuring out who goes to DH now that Winker no longer gives them a R/L platoon. Night Train Lane can move to DH, or can share RF/CF with Crews and Young.

But, no, there is no reason to hold Crews in AAA just on the off-chance that he might win ROY and an extra pick.

He is ready now. Triple A is freaking worthless for development. An extra month of MLB at bats is infinitely more valuable than a chance at a comp pick

I like Call. The guy works pitchers. Despite Coles. Much rather him getting at bats than like 5 guys on the current roster

Does anybody else want to bring back Bell at the minimum? Once Thomas is traded and Crews gets called up, pick the better defender of Yepez/Bell at 1B and DH the other one.

not really sure, tbh. Ramirez seems to have recovered some, but I am not sure about him as a full time DH.

been crushing the ball lately. Will split DH with Ramirez and play a little OF/1st. I think some of the call ups may get dropped by the end of the week when everyone has had physicals and when they are playing a home.

Maybe he needs a physical, then they fly him out west for 2 games? I do wonder if Lip gets sent down again. Also, let's see what they get when they move Floro and possibly Finnegan. This roster is in flux.

Don't think the trade is pending a physical. if it were and he had an issue, it could void the whole thing. But most of these deals which don't involve massive contract liabilities are done without requiring physicals.
