.418 BABIP has a lot to do with the average and the slugging.
He's hitting them harder, hitting fewer pops, but not resulting in more HRs. His LD / GB / FB distribution isn't that much changed (yes, his GB/FB ratio has changed a bit, it is due to fewer liners, which should hurt BABIP). He's pulling less. I still think this is mostly small numbers and not a real change in hitting approach, but if there's someone with a sharper eye or analytical skills can pick up some trends or things to watch, please add them.
