The guy is a little guy.  He's over 30, and all of a sudden he is Babe Ruth?  Tell you what, Potomac.  I'll bet you $100 Batista doesn't hit 30 home runs next year.  If he gets injured for a long time I'll let you slide.  If he gets suspended I win

I don't know that I would count on that happening, at least not at this time. He may eventually get caught though but the chemists are always ahead of the game.

for once, I agree with you.

he's got something that is beating the steroid testing.

or he isn't being tested.

He's a test case. The big juicers will resume juicing soon.

He will hit 30.

But 50+? Never again.

2010 Brady Anderson.
Book it.

Is there a way I can lock in my bet with bglide right now?

It's comforting to know I've got an extra 100 dollars in the bank.

He has 15 bombs more than the next guy He has 12 more than Pujols who leads the NL.

Despite the clear change in Brady's body type and the fact that Brady didn't have 250+ more PAs then the previous couple of years.  If you had the slightest bit of objectivity you might see that there are actually meaningful arguments against some sort of enhancement.

You seriously can't be bothered to spend less than a minute making 2-3 clicks on any number of websites?  The next guy in the AL is Konerko with 39.

And Konerko is having a big jump of 11 HRs over last year, and his best total since 2005 at age 34, he must be juicing as well.

Zack Kroenke is making his first career start tonight for the Dbacks.  He went to Nebraska. Pitched in the CWS in his sr. year.  I believe he's the 4th player and 3rd pitcher from that team to reach the bigs.  There's one more that has a chance to get there.

Vin Scully just said that Mark Reynolds is hitting nearly .400 on BABIP, but because he strikes out so much he's only hitting .198.  Then he promptly bloops one into right.

Vin fudged that number badly. Reynolds is hitting .254 on BABIP. That's why his average is so low this year.

Definitely no margin for error with a 42% K rate.

Who made this bet Chief? Looks like the Nats and Indians are separated by 1 game with 2 games left:

Looks to me like all the digressive blah blah needs to cease and a couple (or a few) people need to put their money where their mouth is.

Who finishes 2010 with a better record?  Nats or Indians?

Place your bets gentlemen, because I'm getting tired of all this biased posturing.

It's on.  Dude won't hit 25 homers next year.   Terrible hitter.

Why are you asking me?  You can read the rest of the thread as well as I can.  Unless you're confused and implying that my statement WAS a bet on my part.

I just remembered the bet when I looked at the standings and saw the teams so close. I don't remember who bet with who.

The Indians are in a 7 game winning streak. Good enough to save Manny Acta's job.

It was good enough for Riggles, so Manny can say statistically there is precedent.
