ARE WE SPOILED....WE COULD BE STILL IN THE BASESMENT WITH HANLON AT THE HELM. I AM HAPPY AS TO WHERE WE ARE THESE DAYS....IF WE COULD ONLY HAVE BETTER STARTS IN FIRST PERIODS.

We lost this game solely because of the horrendous PP.  0/7 against the worst PK team in the entire league.  booooooooooooooooooo.  That's 2 HUGE division games in a row at home that the Caps have gave the fans nothing to cheer.  And they wonder why the attendance is poor....

This young team needs to learn how to show up for every game.

I know on the main Caps boards the scapegoat tonight is Semin, but when you lose 2-1, there's plenty of blame to go around.

That move by Semin was so sick! Too bad he missed the shot.

Down 2-1 right now. We need to get Ovechkin more shots. Kolzig's playing pretty well today.

Green wins it!!!!  :worship:

Kolzig was GREAT except for the delay of game penalty.

nice game olie.

i think they just decided to stop giving ovechkin a star of the game for anything less than 2 goals.  1 G 2 A's and he gets nothing.  Whatever, spread the love. But its not like they chose three caps. Avery got the third

Good game.

I loved that look of aggravation on Avery's face when he couldn't get that one shot past Kolzig.  It was about that time I realized we had them.  I had that feeling.

I love beating the Rangers.

I love beating Jagr.

Let's hope he continues at his "scoring pace" so we'll be rid of his contract once and for all.

What a shame.  A guy with all the talent in the world and could've done MUCH more in his career if he actually cared.  Ranger fans are now experiencing what we Caps fans went through with this slacker.

Not really.  Just heard of it.  I dont think he'll be playing, unless they really dont like Eminger. He'll be more of an emergency guy.

nice amount of points. i'd like to see some +/- stats or minutes played.

i probably would have figured boumedienne would get called up just based on the fact he hung around in training camp. maybe lepisto has developed nicely this year

Lepisto has now been sent back down.  Erskine is good to go for the upcoming road trip.

Typical Capitals hockey.  Dominate your opponent yet lose the game.  Let's hope they surprise us and actually pull this one out.

Well it was nice while it lasted.  What a terrible loss.  Kolzig is a moron but the Caps should have at least 3-4 goals by now.
