Sundin will be a UFA...since everyone else seems to be going to Anaheim, he probably will too. Still, as unfortunate a loss as that was for the Caps, Sundin is a class act.

Guess I need to see what I can scrounge up on Craig's List for tomorrow...I should probably just get STs, since I go to at least half the games.

Generally lack luster performance tonight, Olie certainly didnt help matters much with that bullcrap at the end. Maybe it was deflected, I have to see a replay. Otherwise harmless looking play. Juicy rebound. Olie probably out too far to cut down the angle, ineffective belly flop save attampt

I was thinking about getting another set in the upper level corners depending on what row I could get. I sat there once and I kinda liked it. I would use those and keep the ones I have now for income. I'd have to be dilligent about selling though

There really is hardly a bad seat in the house, and the upper levels at STH prices are a great bargain. I love the lower level, but I'm not the fricking Aga Khan, so 10 large on hockey tickets just isn't in the cards. Upper corners aren't bad...for one thing, you can see around the jumbotron.

I just got done watching the game on DVR. freak Kolzig. 30 seconds away from getting 1 point and he blew it. I can't wait until this season is over and he is off this team.

Karl Alzner (5th overall pick in '07) is going to be AWESOME! Hopefully he's up here next season.

And at least we have a possible future goalie out there in Semen Varlamov (the 27th overall pick in '06).

BRASH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES ON THE TEAM. I THINK HE MIGHT BE THE ONLY ENFORCER TO WEAR THE ASSISTANT ON HIS JERSEY.

Ovechkin won the Breakaway Competition easily. Oh man, I hope you guys saw his two crazy attempts. He missed, but they still were awesome!

Backstrom was also great in the Young Stars game. I think he had 2 goals and an assist. That Patrick Kane really is going to be THE superstar of the bunch, though.

Should be a lively game on Thursday...Caps/Habs/Sens/Leafs/Pens are turning out to be pretty damned good hockey games (as opposed to those soul-killing SE division bores, last game vs Florida notwithstanding).

Lafleur faces arrest warrant for conflicting testimony in son's case

MONTREAL -- Montreal police have issued an arrest warrant for former hockey star Guy Lafleur, accused of giving contradictory evidence as a witness at his son's bail hearing.

Lafleur's lawyer, Jean-Pierre Rancourt, says the former Montreal Canadiens great will turn himself over to police Friday morning.

Mark Lafleur, 23, faces more than 20 criminal charges, including sexually assaulting a minor, armed assault, uttering threats and forcible confinement between 2004 and 2007.

A Quebec judge said the elder Lafleur testified before a court in November that his son was abiding by a court-ordered curfew while he was staying with his parents. But Lafleur later admitted he drove his son to hotels to spend nights with his teenage girlfriend.
