I don't agree with keeping Finnegan though I understand it, not moving Floro is almost borderline malpractice but not something that should set us too far back. Overall we had a decent deadline with what we did sell.

He should be up right away. Looks like a big boy. Perhaps a DH candidate that isn’t the best glove at 3B? Or a 1B candidate?

Still might hear a Finnegan deal beat the buzzer.

If Rizzo didn’t like the offers, it shows at least the aim is to contend next year and he thinks Finnegan fills a need we would have had to go get anyway. I wanted to see another Harvey-like package for him, or what we got for Lane, but we’ll see.

In the Lane Thomas mold when we acquired him of an older guy that was kind of considered a 4A non-prospect.

With him and Tena, we're still throwing lottery tickets hoping to get a power bat. Tena's been assigned to Rochester, still looks like there's an open spot on the 26 man.

may explain why Tena didn't go straight to Phoenix. This may have been in Rizzo's back pocket until the deadline.

Chaparro has played both 1st and 3rd in the upper minors the past couple years. More 3d than 1st.

The guy we got back from Floro sounds like a Juan Yepez type. Hopefully he hits his way into our plans in 2025 like Yepez is currently doing.

I’d say this guy from the D’Backs and Yepez mainly rotate between 1B and DH. Yena may soon take over 3B and leave Lipscomb as a utility guy.
