not going to argue too much. Let's see who gets into the bidding. If it were a choice, I'd still go for a big bat at a defensive position rather than first, but I would not kick about Casas. If Sale is on track, then the Sox might not be that aggressive
Casas is the best prospect you can reasonbly get with Scherzer, and thats with the Nats eating a lot of salary. For a third baseman, youre probably looking at someone really young, like the Cards Walker.
I think the Sox would be absolutely retarded to not be aggressive. Their starting pitching is crap and theyre in a pennant race. Not to mention that having someone better than Nick Pivetta in your playoff roation gives you a better chance of succeeding.
