Don't be so humble.   You and SSB are the two best IMHO.   Usually, cool and calm analysis.

Cool Jerk,Cool Jerk,Cool Jerk,Cool Jerk
We know a cat who can really do the Cool Jerk
We know a cat who can really do the Cool Jerk
Well, this cat they talkin' about,
I wonder who could it be?
Cause I know I'm the heaviest cat,
The heaviest cat you ever did see
When they see me walkin' down the street (1)
When the fellas want to speak
On their faces they wear silly smirks
Cause they know I'm the king of the Cool Jerks

OOOOH Cool Jerk,Cool Jerk,Cool Jerk ,ha ha ha
Look at them guys lookin' at me like I'm a fool
But aww, deep down inside they know I'm cool
I said now, I said now, the moment of truth has
finally come
When I have to show you some , some of that Cool Jerk

Now, give me alittle drums by himself, there
Now give me alittle bit a bass with those 88's

Awwwww You're cookin' baby
Ummm You're smokin'
UmmmmUmmmmmUmmmm
Now everybody, I wanna hear you all

Awwww, Can you do it,can you do it ,can you do it
can you do it ,can you do it, can you do it,can you do it,

Cool Jerk, come on people

Only one way to shut those lot up - winning - and today it almost worked.

It's going to take a LOT of winning to keep the Phillies fans out of Citizens Bank Park South.  Does anyone in the DC Vortex do bus tours for out-of-town games for the Nasty Nats?  The Phillies fans don't just show up for out-of-town games they tour in style, treat the games like an NFL game with coordinated tailgating and are a vocal group (and not just of the vulgar variety).  When was the last time the Global Village Park had a player chant going on?  Or "Let's Go Nats"?  If the scoreboard wasn't there to tell the Hill folks, lobbyists and baseball starved old farts to clap it'd be silent.  If I could I would shove the lame ass subhorn straight up Andrew Fluffer/Feffers keister.

Until some serious, serious changes take place down at South Capital Street I don't see that ever happening for the Nats.  I get that DC is a Foreskinz town but, and I could be speaking for myself here, it's getting depressing watching this team for another year look like the doormat of the NL East.

FWIW, 38,000 of us took over Heinz Field on New Years Day.

...but this has to have been the largest opposition turn-out ever, in proportionate terms - 34,789 announced attendance and something like 2/3 Phillies supporters.

This is precisely what will motivate the Lerners to continue milking this cash cow while we are subjected to a woeful team.

So, around 60%?  Today it was 95% Phillies fan and 5% suckers.  Almost as bad as that Sept 2010 game where they were popping the bubbly on our field after clinching the NL East.

The Phillies should have to play in empty stadiums like Italian footie teams do after their skinhead fans have lit a few too many police on fire.

Personally a think a fate similar to the Jacksonville Jaguars would be more ideal.

The two best closing days were Maxwell's walk-off slam (#2) and year one, where (despite being swept by the Filthies) we were able to scoreboard root for the Astros over the Cubs to the great consternation of all nearby enemy fans.  I had several crying girls in Phillies crap call me an jerk, which warmed my heart.  They probably cried all the way back to Madhatters and then got sozzled on RbVs.

Now, now, don't go making fun of my former favourite drinking hole.  Next you're going to be trash talking Recessions and their gay bar strong drinks and all-you-can-drink specials.

I don't even know what an RbV is, but I don't like to drink things mixed with other things. Sometimes a splash of water in my whiskey is permissible.

Red Bull and Vodka.  The only mixes I enjoy are of the speedball variety.

Mixed drinks were invented during prohibition because the liquor tasted terrible. Good stuff does not need to be mixed.

Thanks for the history lesson, I'll remember that the next time I'm drinking vodka or Everclear straight up and wondering why it burns.  Again, the only mix I've enjoyed is of the speedball variety.

Now, back to Madhadders, I "got to know" a couple of personality less hot bodies there back when in the day.  Great place, if you're looking to bang Hill interns from Nebraska.
