Feliz issues a walk, still two to go for the no-hitter.

Phillies game is awesome.

14th inning, Howard gets ejected, Phillies have burned their entire bullpen and bench.

Oswalt is now in LF because they have no one left.

Sling Blade is a worse manager than Riggleman or Acta.

Ibanez ridiculously bad at 1B, Astros score 2.

I did that the other day...in my slow pitch softball game.

This game is a perfect demonstration why the NL is better than the AL.

Uhh... I just chanced upon that Phillies game, and wow, as already mentioned. Oswalt playing LF is freaking hilarious. Unfortunately it's the 16th and the Stro's are up by two now. Would have loved for this game to go another three or four innings.

Why would you use Oswalt and not a scrub like Kendrick?

He's got to prove he's a true Phillie.  It's his initiation.  An elaborate Rouse by the Astros and Phillies.

Charlie Manuel spit tobacco juice on the roster and it landed on Oswalt's name.

The perfect ending to this game would be for Oswalt to fly out to the base of the wall.

That may be a big part of why he got the nod, he's not a bad hitter.

Oh man, if that loss keeps the Phillies out of the playoffs, I'm sending those umps an Edible Arrangement. I hope it isn't the difference, though, so Sling Blade stays on to screw up games next season.

Problem is the Braves can't beat the Rockies.  They were gift wrapped a couple of games and couldn't put some room between them and the Phils.

Oswalt grounds out to end it with the tying run at first. Phillie is phucked. Night game tomorrow, then a day game, then a west coast trip. This five and a half hour affair, using every player save three starters, one relief pitcher throwing almost sixty pitches, and Friday nights starter playing LF for a couple innings... It's going to hurt them bad in their race with Atlanta. I'd go so far as to say tonights game spells the end of their division race so long as Atl doesn't tank, and possibly their wild card chances as well. A game like this, with a night then day then west coast road trip with no off days against a team that's been somewhat struggling of late? It's what ends seasons.
