Nats are 21st in attendance right now. Not bad considering how things have been for 5 years.
While it's obviously limited given his few starts, Strasburg has clearly inflated that number. Deduct the Philthy fans from two series as well, and I imagine we're in the bottom five. Point being, it's still bad. I recall the Royals Monday game being the emptiest I recalled seeing Nats park. Only 13k paid, and about 4-6k in reality. The team is still drawing as bad as ever when you don't have Strasburg or another teams fans.
And to keep it on topic, Guzzie got his first hit as a Ranger last night. And Capps, in his second save opportunity with the Twins, blew the save. Went extra innings, with the Twins winning in 13. I think time will tell we utterly destroyed the Twins in that trade. I still love Capps, don't get me wrong, but he's an average closer at best. The Twins are well on their way to seeing that for themselves.
