The worst and corniest movie of all time was The Babe Ruth Story starring William Bendix. It was so bad they say even the Babe walked out on it.

I think the John Goodman movie was worse. Maybe because I expected the Bendix movie to be pap.

Rangers are good but Phillies seem to just be on a mission this postseason. Hard to see anyone beating them. I like Harper and Trea but I'm not too happy about them being known more for their successes on a hated division rival than for us.

At this point if the Phillies don't win the WS it would be among the biggest playoff collapses in history.

In fairness, Turner is still a baby-face. Realmuto looks like an athlete, and Harper is built more like a Crossfit games contender than a beer league.

Schwarber, on the other hand, looks the part. He's tied Reggie Jackson for most post-season homers by a lefty. Even though it was always going to be short term, I miss him more than Bryce.

Seven-game series are different animals. As much as it would be nice for the Rangers to take care of business, I’m certainly not counting out the Asterisks, who if they get through again certainly can’t be dismissed as far as the next round.

Yeah LOL saying a 90 win team collapses if they don’t win it all. Rangers are undefeated and beat two 99 win plus teams. Houston are the defending champs with basically the same roster.

The Braves losing in the division series two years in a row with 100 wins is a collapse.

Things can change quickly in the post season.
