I mean, if they let Scherzer go more than an inning, they're gonna lose. Dude is a dud in the playoffs and he's clearly still injured.

Really do not understand why the Rangers didnt simply tell him he's a reliever. Give him a clean inning to start and you get maybe 3 appearances out of him in a 7 game series.

Houston has its best pitcher going. Maybe Max can channel good Max playoff past. Like game 7 in 2019. Not perfect but it was enough. Maybe three innings tonight.
