The Braves this year have a "this team is obviously going to win the World Series" vibe in a way I haven't seen since the 2016 Cubs. Though the time before that I saw it was the 2001 Mariners so...

Really rooting against the Braves, Phillies and Orioles. Astros and the Dodgers about a tier below that for me. I would be stoked if any other team managed to win it all but those teams are certainly the favorites this year unfortunately.

Rooting for a Brewers/Twins WS.  Party like it's 1987 (almost the ALCS that year, but the Brewers faded down the stretch).

In reality, it'll probably be some insufferable bullcrap like Orioles/Phillies or Astros/Braves Part 2: Electric Boogaloo.

D-backs could be fun with Carroll and some of their other guys. Probably rooting for the Brewers in the NL. As for the AL, I am going to let the games play out. I often develop a preference once the playoffs start. I kind of like the Rays going in. I'd like to see Paredes get his due.

Wheeler and Nola are workhorses who pitch very well. Nola has slipped a bit this year but still went an average of six innings a start. Wheeler has been one of the best free agent pitcher signings in recent years. Started slow this year but should still finish top 5 in Cy Young voting. I like pitchers like that.
