Also was too young, but was definitely no fan of them when I realized all of what happened. I would be less pleased if there was no team here and if this iteration of Nats had not won before the Rangers had. Now, they may be the lesser of many annoyances.

Lol. When I was a kid my dad and uncles hated the Twins. Then it was my turn to hate the Rangers. Over the years since we got a team back I guess I've softened. My brother-in-law loved going to Griffith Stadium as a kid. He's buried very close to Calvin Griffith. Every time I go visit him it's all I can do to not relieve myself on Calvins grave.

Strong words lol. In my case, even though I was a "victim" of MLB relocation, I would say that it was slightly different from what the Senators fans lived through. I do not have any animosity towards the Lerners, but rather against the Quebec politicians who basically gave away the Expos/Nats team by refusing to fund a new MLB ballpark in downtown Montreal. I blame them more than Selig (who people usually blame first), who actually tried to convince these politicians to build the ballpark.

I remember times when the writer for the Montreal Gazette who followed the situation closest would think it was almost a done deal a new stadium would be built but then it would fall through because a politician would pull his support. Then they talked about contraction instead of relocation.

I wonder if those same politicians that didn't support a new stadium wished they had.

Astros vs the NL East. I'm ready for something different. If it was at least the Mets or Marlins that would at least be more entertaining.

Phillies should be declared series winner based on plus 10 run differential.

I just made sure the Phillies wouldn't win the world series. I bet on them to do just that.

Last pitch was outside and announcers don’t say a thing.

HR day.

Even with a bad outing I have a feeling Lance Lynn won’t miss a good meal tonight.

I know it’s not Roberts fault he lost so many pitchers but can the Dodgers really keep him as manager?  They just underachieve post season year after year.

Being a Dodgers fan has got to be worse than being a Nationals fan before the 2019 World Series.  Multiple embarrassing postseason failures only broken up by a World Series that half of baseball fans clown on because of the 60-game season with no fans.

Nah, their owner spends like a drunken sailor so at least they’ve had hope every year.

Dodgers have now lost 6 straight playoff games dating back to last year. 12 more to catch the Twins.

Honestly, Roberts did a really good joh this year. Despite injuries, team won a hundred games. And his starting pitching lost him the series within the first two innings of each start. He handled the pen very well in the playoffs.

On the other hand, it wouldnt surprise me if they did.

We assumed that when Friedman went to the Dodgers, that the money would allieviate the postseason issues that he had in Tampa. I dont think thats the case.

Dodgers were sixth in payroll this year.  So drunken sailors trying to cut back.
