we're tied with three AL teams for the longest playoff win streak, we already own the NL win streak. Win game 3 and we'll own it all.

The excuses he was just "Celebrating Osuna" and not making a statement to those women with the purple wristbands for domestic violence is bs.  Why would you look at them and say that about a player with his history when he just blew a save?

Just because you think it, doesn't mean you have to say it.

Especially since he had complained about one of the writers in the past because she wrote about domestic violence and put hotline information in her articles.

The guy was an investment banker and "fantasy baseball expert" before coming to the Astros. This makes what he did not at all surprising, probably even inevitable.

The #Astros haven’t been to #Nats Park since 2014, but they opt to only hit in the indoor cage, figuring they can test the field tomorrow. They seem eerily calm and relaxed for being down 0-2

This series was over the second they intentionally walked Juan Soto.

They out talented people all season and could follow some analytic gimmicks and win. They realized in that moment of walking Soto they're now in a bar fight with a bunch of brawlers and there is no hope, no quarter, no salvation to be found in their Baseball Prospectus manifesto.

They may win one, maybe even two games before this is over, but they're done.

Since we should probably talk about it, Grienke owns the Nats souls in his career.

Tonight is must win. Particularly with Patrick "Gio" Corbin going tomorrow. Tonight, you win by any means necessary.

No it's not.   We have to win 2 of 5.  It would be a mistake to do anything today that would hurt our chances on later games.   Corbin vs bullpenning is a good matchup for us anyway.

If we can’t move the dial against Brad Peacock, we’re in trouble regardless
