Thought he had two sons. As in "Ral-John" Maryland?
Definitely had two sons. But as I recall, he left the team to one of them.  Just didn't leave him money to run it and he had to sell.

He screwed his son over and his illegitimate daughter. And to top it off he left us with a crappy stadium. Asswipe.
His enduring legacy is that he (ultimately) left us with Dan Snider.

Nats, then Caps, then Nats again.
Trifecta  344

Nats Game 1  ....  3
Caps Game 5  ...    4
Nats Game 2  ...    4
Well it was a trifecta ...

The United are winning 3-1. And the Rooney rumors just shifted back into overdrive

I wish both games had been rained out. There are so many useful things I could have done today, rather than watch a bunch of clowns trying to play baseball.

Oh c'mon Mitlen -- just admit it - you like being on TV

A million would do me just fine.    Help pay for those damn seats behind the plate.

I did get the 4 on the second Nats game.    :)     An awful DC sport's day.    I can't imagine how bad is would be if I were a 'skins' fan too.

Just watched the Nats' final game in the Dodgers' three game series.    My trifecta almost matched the hits the Nats got in each game.

It would seem the Nats will clinch the first DC win in over a week

Pray for a rain out today so Fedde doesn't have to throw.

probably shouldn't have bought tickets for today:

1:00 pm - 85% chance of thunderstorms
2:00 pm - 84% chance of heavy thunderstorms
3:00 pm - 81% chance of thunderstorms
4:00 pm - 78% chance of scattered thunderstorms.

CWG says 60% chance of delay

Yeah. Instead it was 90 and muggy.  And I loved every minute of it. :)

CWG was saying good chance of starting then stopping about an hour in.  Rain duration predicted at about 45 minutes, which probably means a delay of an hour fifteen.  So they will get it in, but I'm guessing there will be an early exodus.

The ladies on News4 said the storms will hit the beltway a little after 8:00. The radar looks ugly.

Heavy rain and some lightning now west of Manassas.  Not severe though.

For the first time ever I had to turn around because of traffic. Wilson bridge closing or partial closing has really disrupted the traffic patterns around the DC area. after two hours on the road I was not even close to the 14th St. bridge. Started in the Tysons area. And given the weather forecast for later I pulled the plug. NANF.
