Hes one of the biggest stars in the league. A tremendous talent. He has great hair. He’s fun to watch. He doesn’t give me a headache.
He isnt a star anymore. Hes a joke. The superstar that struggles to hit his weight. Hes a 4th OFer on his own team

There is a price point where the I would be beyond thrilled if the Nationals kept Harper.

I imagine that price point is comfortably below low end valuations placed on him in Philadelphia, the Bronx, or maybe even LA or Chicago.

Bryce has always been the most hated player in MLB. Now his own fan base has caught up! They really need to trade for Hamels so we can have those two on the bench during the long months ahead.

WNFF =/= Washington Fan base. They still love this guy.

I want Bryce to stay in DC! I don't want another Kirk Cousins fiasco where we let a talent go.  But does he want to be here?  He's rocking a DC Flag headband at the Home Run Derby!

Only because if his name. If he was named Brian Goodwin,  he wouldn't start

wouldn't it be nice if he cared that much about the team, and showed that much drive and energy to the team?

it was nice to see that side of Harper. He was a showman. Having the time of his life. A drastic difference from the guy we’ve watched the past couple months. Hopefully he brings that energy on Friday and into October.

It would be, but that's not him.

Trade him now -- he's at the height of his value after last night. Some team may overlook that he can't hit real game pitching.

A career .277 and .894 OPS hitter can't hit real game pitching?

Haters gonna hate.

There are people who pathologically hate Harper so I just dismiss them. They can't even enjoy last night's epic moment for DC baseball. Their loss.

You have Harper all wrong. And that's about as nice as I can be about it.

Wilson Ramos bringing the water bottle was so awesome, and so was the Felipe Vazquez (Romero) visit at the end of one of the rounds. Those guys don’t HAVE to go out of their way to be nice to harper, so the fact that they do, tells me that he’s not the evil villain he’s made out to be.

I do think that years of having to guard every single word have taken their toll, and that Bryce is probably wrapped way too tight right now, but hopefully last night will blow some of that out and let some fresh air in. When he’s on, he’s so very, very good, and just a pleasure to watch.

so why wouldn't he run out the infield ball that turned out to be a double-play?

He doesn’t take many days off. I rather him job a DP then miss games.
