I think the all-star break will do him good. I know it's still baseball but it's a break from the regular grind.

Unless he sucks in the Home Run Derby. He has to at least beat Freeman. If he goes out in the first round, man, that’s gonna be ugly.

As long as freeman cant convince a nat to pitch to him, Bryce has a shot

@chelsea_janes Harper was frustrated to be asked about not running out the DP ball last night and whether Davey brought it up today like he mentioned he would.

“After I hit the ball 108 miles per hour?”

He ended the conversation shortly after.

Needs to go.

Let's not forget that it was reported in 2014 that the players declared Matt would have lost the team if he hadn't benched Royce for that.

It is. But I believe it was scoffed at by Nats fans. Now, I'm wondering if the league has known this for a while

I'm wondering if he'll actually do the Derby.

That’s PNC Park. Iron City Beer sign and the blue lights on the atrium. I don’t know the context but hope whoever he flipped off, deserved it. Reminds me of JW by the bus at the Naval Academy game— can’t remember what was said, but that not-terribly-subtle middle finger salute is still one of my favorite JW gifs.

I just really love PNC Park, especially the atrium. It’s Blasphemy to mix it up with crapi Field.

Missus and I went to PNC a few years ago while visiting family.    I got tickets on the left field line, upper deck.    Missus sez, "I can't watch the game way up here."    I sez, "We're here to look at the skyline.    We can watch baseball anytime."    :)

If that is his reaction to out of town fans, just wait till he is playing in New York next year.
If he hits and hustles next year like he is now now  he is going to run out of middle fingers.

Stanton had a slow start and Yank fans booed him unmercifully yet in the civilized confines of Nats Park not one boo for Harper has been heard when in fact he has long since passed the boo line
