What we saw was just a quicker replay of the season's typical ABs.....when the opposing pitchers are struggling, our boys whiff at the first lousy pitch, then watch any good pitch sail by, then flail at some low, outside or inside, bouncing in the dirt 'pitch', striking out and then they aim their pouting face towards the scoreboard, for reasons that elude me....it's not like the ump is going to change his call on a replay...no one chokes up with 2 strikes - they just choke.
Everyone wants to be the Hero, flailing at everything, hoping for a home run, when just a single would do...and base running blunders abound, mostly because this is a home run or nothing team, and no one has ever bothered to study base running skills because they are just waiting to trot lazily around if someone else manages to hit said home run.
But they will keep telling us how good they are, how talented they are, how they grind and allegedly play hard....then we see their actual performance under pressure...
