I went to last night's game and was very disappointed.  Today, I was feeling the same way, until magically, Lind did what he always does, Harper homered and so did Zimmerman and we won.  I just hope this means the Nats' bats have awakened and we're back in this thing!!!!

Lind and Harper won't  go down without  a fight...Maybe Zimmerman  got a dose of what that means

Yeah. A .340 career playoff hitter doesn’t fight.  Seriously bad post.

At the risk of another seriously bad post and the knuckle smacking which goes along with it:
What is Zimm's playoff BA with RISP?

Great comeback last night. Nats should be up 2-0 if the offense didn't wait 17 innings to show up.

Heated discussions are fine but can we cut down on the unnecessary insults?

Dude, always tick up for yourself. Our confrontations are always more fun when you hit back.

Nah. I’ve demonstrated that I can hit back. Name calling is the last resort of folks that don’t have an argument. Shouldn’t have done it. I’m better than that.

But calling one a "moron" or "dotard" is so much easier.

Are there necessary insults?

Some times they come in the form of direct slaps in the face like" you moron" or to quote Stork to Bluto " What are we supposed  to do you moron?"

Sometimes  they come in the form of condesending remarks like "serous bad post"

Neither done on this cyber planet bothers me much but if done in person perhaps the perpetrator would suffer the umbridge of Angelossux....perhaps...but in a nice way

Gutless and talentless...complete frauds at the plate. Every team scores decent amount of runs these days.

The Nats had their annual postseason “offensive explosion” in game 2. Beyond embarrassing, but yes I’m sure Dusty will be the fall guy this time!

Say what now?

I said that before game 2 and they won. And no one gave Dusty credit and no one took Maddon to task for questionable pitching moves that cost the cubs the game. But the knives are out again.

The bats haven’t performed. At all.  That’s why the Nats are down 2-1. If they manage 3 runs a game they sweep.

For the record, the Nats win win game 4 too, I think.

They make the Capitals look lionhearted by comparison.  The Caps have won 3 postseason series in recent years.  Can you imagine the Nats doing that?  I couldn't imagine it even if you expanded the MLB playoffs the way NHL is.  Hell, I think the Nats could've played the Phillies in a best-of-7 and they still would have choked.
