I like Boog's BBQ. :couch:

I'll give you that. And he's such a personable character. It's cool to have him come out and sign baseballs and take pics with the kids.

The Nats are replacing the giant player portraits on the parking garages with pictures from six iconic moments from the first 20 years:

The ones that they shared so far on social media:

1. Howie's HR in game 7
2. Strasburg debut
3. Teddy winning his first race

My thoughts:

1.  Howie's HR in game 7 of the WS
2.  Howie's Grand Slam in Game 5 of the DS
3.  Trent Richardson's Wild Card Game error in right field
4.  Werthquake
5.  The Souza / Zimmermann No-hitter
.

.
.
.
6.  Take your pick...doesn't really matter...maybe one of the concerts...

Walked past the park yesterday, the other two are Zim’s walk-off to open Nats Park in 2008 and Werth’s 2012 NLDS walk-off.

Yes. And I  would have Soto's single past Trent Grisham rather than a Teddy moment. Heck, I would have a Springsteen concert ahead of Teddy if you are going with a non-baseball event

Manfred would never have approved that...it went on far too long...

Phowheels has a stand in the CC Waterpark that I hit occasionally. Positive, but pricier than the 54 Restaurant on E St at 12th. Bank Mi is good at both places. The Banh Mi dog at Haute Dogs were a go to last year. I hope HDs is back.

That's just the CF entrance-level operation and not the Loft, right?

the answer to "what's new?"
https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2025/03/24/nationals-park-guide-food-promotions-drinks/
More drink options, several new food options (including foot long dogs and chinese food), a post-game concert list, beer on the tuesday $5 menu (well, it's Bud light), and guide to promos. Some of this has been covered in other posts.

My big question is whether there's going to be a Kosher stand and who will operate it. Not that I keep Kosher, but for an occasional potato knish or beef sausage it's a good take in. I think that operation had a big step down from Max's to the more  recent operator. Even BiL acknowledged the Max falafel was very good. I need falafel at the park, but Mush sounds interesting.

I'll take Nats Park over higher rated OPACY, Fenway, Wrigley and Citi Field any day of the week...

I wouldn't set foot in CBP...

CBP is great.  And the fans are most friendly to visitors.

I'd probably pick Wrigley over Nats Park. I definitely prefer Nats Park to Camden (though I'm curious to see if the new scoreboard and sound system improve the experience). I haven't been to Citi but the trash dump on Staten Island was preferable to Shea.

No plans to see a game in Philly any time soon.

I liked Wrigley for the history.

Liked Seattle.  Was nice to go to a day game in August and not swelter.

Looking forward to going to Pittsburgh, SF and SD someday.

i went to Chase about 20 years ago and didn't hate it. Better experience than either Camden or Miami.

Worst baseball experience ever was the Astrodome...even worse than Wrigley, which was no easy feat...

Kingdome was pretty bad, too.
