Philly fans will be a pain that day. I hope they won't be off a World Series win.

Like that crapshow in 2010.  Appropriately enough 27 March is the anniversary of the Canary Islands airport disaster

Has anyone been to a post-game concert this year? If so, which ballpark seats would provide a decent view of the show next week? I am not interested in purchasing the on-field add-on to my ticket--I have no idea who Teddy Swims is, just happen to be in town that night. Also, can you buy alcohol during the concert or do the 7th inning rules still apply? Thanks!

We were there for the Flo Rida concert. They set up the stage on top of 2nd base and open up all sections (except for club seating) so you can move to wherever you like .

For the game, we were in 309 but went down to the 100s for the concert. It was packed in the sections immediately behind the dugouts. Probably would have been better to stay in the 300's as close to the middle as possible.  We ended up standing at the back of 128.

Beer/Alcohol sales were going on for at least the first 30 minutes of the concert (which lasted about an hour).

As it's the 'game-of-the-season', tomorrow - meow! - it's, once again, time for the annual appeal. If anyone has a 'Catitude' shirt they would like to sell, please PM. This year, I'll extend it to include the football shirt as well, please.  ;)

Its less grand, but it's in the CF gate off to the 3rd base side. No red carpet like they used to have.

The bullpen is full of port a Johns for tonight’s Springsteen show which seems oddly appropriate.

The one where woowoo girls drink frozen vodka & red bulls or the one where pitchers stink up the place?

Just saw the Nats are offering $49 all you can eat tickets for the Royals series. (https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/specials/all-you-can-eat)

I wonder how they'll enforce this to keep folks from buying just one ticket and using it to feed their family.

Like if you buy ten, you’ll end up eating eight cause nobody wants to go?

The Nats are holding a competition for local food vendors who want to bring their items to the ballpark:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/09/23/nats-park-concessions-local-food/

Quote
With an eye toward next season and in response to fan feedback calling for a wider variety of food and beverage options at the ballpark, the Washington Nationals will host a “Pitch Your Product” showcase next month for the first time in a decade.
The “Shark Tank”-style competition invites local restaurateurs, entrepreneurs and food and beverage suppliers to make the case for why their products should be featured as part of the concessions lineup at Nationals Park in 2025.

Some more BBQ options would be nice.
