Heh. I pointed out the statistic and got this response. I think I may just ignore his comments going forwards:

But his receiving is so bad; the guy is chasing pitches which get away from
him all the time.  I still don't think he can make a key throw when they
really need it.  The Twins shipped him out because of his defensive
liabilities.

....and then this just came. I read it to my wife and she said, "He's gone off the deep end."

He actually threw out 50% in the International league for Rochester in 2010,
which indicates he can throw well;  perhaps he is still recovering from all
the injuries he has had, which cause him not to move so well behind the
plate.

In November, it nay suck horribly to lose to the Royals in the World Series, but right now I will feel ecstatic just to  PLAY the Royals in the Series. Besides, we aren't 40 miles away from KC nor do we have to deal with fans brainwashed into thinking Kansas City is a suburb of Washington.

They make jokes but when I was living in Venezuela with my grandparents a few years back (in Ramos's city, no less) I almost got kidnapped twice (once in Caracas).

You can't say 3. Say 2, but even that bunt gets Cabrera and Zimmerman up with one out and fast runners on 2nd and 3rd. Cabrera did hit. I dunno could have gone anywhere.

Your scenario isn't true if Bumgarner cuts the runner down at 3B.  And Zimmerman is a GIDP enthusiast.

The word I'd probably use is "eccentric." This guy refuses to get an E-ZPass because he thinks getting one is tantamount to supporting the construction of the Silver Line, which he opposes. (Never mind that E-ZPass has been around for a lot longer than the Silver Line project.....)
