Harper, Trout, Fernandez, Machado, Xander Bogaerts, Teheran,  Simmons, Heyward, Bumgarner, Stanton . . . all called up early/young.

But he's already shown he can hit minor league pitching. And you're ignoring the hand injury. Ramos isn't hitting for much power, should we send him down? You send him down, he doesn't learn anything. It's a waste of time for everyone involved. All you've done is hurt his confidence more and left a hole in LF that can't be filled.

Ramos jumps from one injury to another, I could care less about his service time. If the power if from a hand injury, then let him actually heal, if you don't want to screw with service time, then DL him, give souza a couple of weeks of starts (or Taylor if you prefer)

It is healed. He's shown it's healed by hitting for power in the minors during his rehab games. This is simply adjusting to bigger ballparks and better pitching. DLing him does NOTHING for him. He's right back where he started two weeks prior.

It's simply something he has to work through. Just like Span at the beginning of the season. Just like Zimmerman when he came back. Just like Rendon during his slump. Just like Werth.

For me it's the opposite of Baez.     I could listen to Collins' music but didn't think she was "all that"?     Maybe it was Baez's hair.    I fell in love with a raven haired girl in the 50's on the school bus in 2nd grade.    My life hasn't been the same since.    Baez was just another stop along the way.

So many young studs in the league today and Harper is nowhere near as good as any of them. Disappointing considering all the hype.

Why is it that D.C. "superstars" never live up and always get leapfrogged? Ovechkin was supposed to be a GOAT, he gets overtaken by Crosby. Wall was supposed to be the next great PG, gets overtaken by Irving/Lillard. RG3 looked great, now he's barely a top 5 young QB. And now Stras/Harper. Neither are the best young player at their position, not even close really.
