Kilgore gave Billy Burns a little pub today. He is now a switch hitter with an OBP over .400. Runs to first in from 3.8 to 3.9.
Billy Burns has replaced Goodwin in the lineup in CF for something like 3-4 games in a row, as Goodwin slumps, with his avg. down to .220 and a host of "0-fers" lately.
On another note, I think Taylor Hill deserves his own prospect thread. Last night, he had 6 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 7 SO. For the year, he's got an ERA of 3.40, and a WHIP of 1.23 (both are lowest among all Suns starters with 6 or more starts as of 5/24, including Meyer and Estevez). Although he's not a strikeout pitcher, he has an almost 3:1 SO/BB ratio (only 8 BBs in 42.1 innings). Only Karns, with 3 starts, has a lower ERA (2.59) and a lower WHIP. (1.15)
