Solid catch and throw guy. Bat improving every year. Could be a solid backup in a year or two.

Thanks Linty, I saw he was the only one on the 40-man in AA and hadn't heard of him before.

He's been up and down with the big club a couple times the past two seasons.

Having exceeded 130 ABs in the majors, Anthony Rendon has lost his continuing rookie eligibility and his prospect status. He has graduated to the MoveOn.org/lock and load former prospect thread.

Also unlocked the Karns and Kobernus thread. I never locked Marrero.

the prospect rule is anyone who retains rookie eligibility. Rookie eligibility is 40 IP or 130 AB, or 45 days in the majors during the 25 man roster period, IIRC.

Garcia should still be rookie eligible and therefore a prospect. he's only had 12.2 IP in the majors and 31 days per Cots going into the year. Looks like his 60 day DL is dated from 3/22/13 this year (link), so he is still a rookie as best as I can tell.

Thnking about going to see the P-Nats tonight and see Brian Rauh is pitching. Has anyone seen him pitch? Looks like he has split time this year between Hagerstown and Potomac with a game at Harrisburg thrown in. Also, sounds like Michael Taylor has started to hit so looking forward to seeing him.
