Via Nats player development: Travis Sthele tossed 5.0 shutout IP (6 K, 0 BB) yesterday and has done this over his last 6 G (5 GS): 4-1, 1.24 era (29.0 IP), 25 K, .192 opp AVG (20-for-104)

DJ Herz has graduated from prospect to rookie status, Wood should have rookie status next week. Page 1 is updated. Brad Lord is now at #30, everyone behind Lord moves up a spot.

This is why prospect rankings are so ridiculous and often say nothing about the future.  Brad Lord has been a solid starter in AAA at 24, and is just about ready for an MLB start while Alex Clemmey averages 3 innings a start and can't find the strike zone in low A.  They've also got Clemmey ahead of Travis Sykora, who has been far more effective at that level.

I assume a more thorough update is coming as they haven’t added the new draft picks yet.

Was Parker on the top 30 list before coming up?

I saw the FredNats in Lynchburg today, which might make me the first person on here to get eyes on Ramirez in person.  I'll put a few notes from today in prospect threads.

Top-30 updated and new FTP threads created for the new arrivals.

Darren Baker, Cole Henry, Brenner Cox, and Jeremy De La Rosa fall out of the top-30.

thanks for posting and welcome!

It's a bit long to listen to right now, but are there any of the prospects they like that don't show up as much in other ratings?

Thanks to noble for all the updates!!

No problem! I do hope it doesn't feel like I'm spamming the board when I do it. Happy to change how I do it if so.

I did notice a couple of discrepancies. There appear to be two FTPs for Luke Dickerson:
https://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=41626.0 and
https://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=41570.0

I also noticed the Orlando Ribalta FTP is not locked despite him being in the majors.

Inside source told us that catcher Sir Jamison Jones, the 15th round draft pick (440th overall) by the Nats, is impressing and showing like a 1st round talent in West Palm Beach. Jones was drafted out of high school in Illinois.

Nice season for Anthony Argulles at Fredricksburg (2023 MLFA after graduating from Virginia Tech). 35.1 IP, 11 SV, 2.55 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 45Ks, 15BBs

Hopefully he heads to A+ to start next year.

2024 minor league award winners:
https://www.masnsports.com/blog/crews-sykora-and-green-highlight-nats-2024-minor-league-award-winners

* Hitter of the Year – Dylan Crews
* Pitcher of the Year – Travis Sykora
* Defensive Player of the Year – Elijah Green
* Baserunner of the Year – Darren Baker
* Nationals Way Award – Daylen Lile and Brad Lord

I’m guessing that Wood was ineligible for the batter of the year award.

any other year, the guy who goes from Wilmington to Rochester with his results would get it, but Sykora was ridiculous
