English is going up against Walker for that extra bullpen spot if they carry one.

Capps, Clippard, Bruney, Bergmann, Batista and Burnett are in.  (according to riggs)

How in the hell does Jason Bergmann have a bullpen spot locked up?

He's horrific.

+1

Bergmann should be so much better but he's not so let's move on. Same with Mock. Both are major underachievers. Ship their asses out pronto. :whip:

Looks like they want to move him into a short relief position. My mistake. But that really is new for him.

No worries.  I wasn't sure if he had pitched more than an inning and I was pretty sure they wanted to look at him for situational relief.

English struck out the side? 3.18 era? Id say take him over Walker, although I haven't seen him pitch at all so I don't know what I'm signing him up for.

i have in one or two spring games on tv ... looks good.  i have a buddy who is a diehard dodgers fan who was glad to get him out of that division.  he can start or serve as a reliever.

walker has had some decent days, but they may be in the past.  Riggleman made a great point today in that they want to see English against marquee MLB hitters, but it may be hard to give him that chance with the club trying to stretch out starters this week.

Someone here has had man love for English for a while.  Was it PA?  If Burnett struggles, English could be a good option.

I was kidding before, but English has been a beast and really surprised. Best of luck to him.

Dave b chose him and said he was hot or something

Harris with an RBI GO and Guzman with an RBI 2B to tie up the game.

Morgan also had a feet first steal of second this inning.
