In other news, Scott Olsen is still not good and Emilio Bonifacio still sucks when he faces 28 teams in MLB.

Another crappy outing for our pitchers. I know it's spring training but this is a little nerve wracking right now.

It was Scotty's first time on the mound since he left injured last season.  Everyone knows he's not 100%, but it's good for him to start stepping up and trying to compete, it will hasten his return hopefully.

what's that about Dukes mailing it in? Based on what? Bonifacio crushed it to the gap and the ball. Triple all the way. He hit a double earlier and almost ran through Orr charging a popup.

Heard "ball falls in front of dukes" several times. I can't see, of course. Also Nyjer outran him on a ball, but that's not surprising.

Yesterday Dukes was dogged by the Mets announcers for what they thought was a catchable fly ball that he let drop behind him.

Not sure what PANats was talking about today though.

as usual.. Is someone here actually watching the game, or is this all radio interpretation?

I'm one AA battery short of hearing the game, even though reception probably wouldn't come through anyway.

Give me a reason why I should believe this team will lose less than 100 games?

Strasburg and Wang.

Tomorrow will tell a lot about the Nats season. What happens if Strasburg is not ready? We are looking at an unprecedented 3 straight #1 draft Picks. Not even the Devil Rays did that.

So it's official than, we can ignore the fact that this is week 1 of Spring Training and start panicking now!!!!!!

I just want to know, I hate getting ahead of the consensus.

Yep if you ignore the fact that todays pitching staff was all non-roster invitees, a starter moving to the bullpen (in AAA), and Tyler Clipard.

Admit nothing, deny everything, make counter allegations - that's what I always say!
