Desmond looked silly there. This Porcello guy is pretty good

Is he even 21 yet? He's my bet to win 300 games out of the current crop of pitchers.

Is there a way to check if this is the highest rated Nats Spring Training game in MASN history?

YES.  Count the number of people posting in this thread.  Compare it to the number watching in past spring training threads.

If Debbi talks through a Strasburg AB I will throw a shoe through my tv.

That was a perfect pitch to Desmond at the bottom of the zone. Even if he made contact it wouldn't have gone anywhere.

The other swings looked terrible. It's a testament to Porcello.

Will he go more than 2 innings today?

Porcello out for a third inning, Whitesell gets caught swinging at some garbage in the dirt for a GO 4-3.

Porcello definitely not looking as sharp as he was the first two innings.  Nieves slaps an outside pitch for another GO 4-3.

Morgan easily makes it to first on a bunt single.  Nyjer got to the bag even before the throw.  Beauty of a bunt!

MORGAN FEET FIRST SB!

Announcers talking about how the feet first slide will add a danger dimension for the 2B/SS trying to stop Nyjer

CatMan said something about a pitch count, and wanting to look at other players, so yes it sounds like a short look.  They said Nieves was going to go to the mound and joke with him, if he appeared nervous.

NOOK MORGAN!!!  THE S-P-E-E-D!

Guzman beat out a weak hit, but was called out at first.  Morgan was a few steps from home if Guzman had been safe.  Expect Riggs to try lots of hits and runs with Morgan on base (and Guzman at bat).

Strasburg looked real good out there today.

Those breaking balls were phenomenal, although I'm a little upset that MASN didn't seem to have the gun on when he was throwing.

Rizzo said he was going 2 innings or 40 pitches

Don't lump kennedy in with Eckstein. Kennedy has pro-level talent.

Pretty uneventful inning, besides the nibbling and walks by Batista which led to 2 Tiger runs.
