Looks to me like all the digressive blah blah needs to cease and a couple (or a few) people need to put their money where their mouth is.

Who finishes 2010 with a better record?  Nats or Indians?

Place your bets gentlemen, because I'm getting tired of all this biased posturing.

I already bet him over Pinero vs Marquis.

The Indians suck rocks.  This "argument" is a joke.

Jake Westbrook? :lmao: Good luck keeping him healthy.

@PA - So place a side bet with different stakes.  Or somebody else can take it up, or several someones.  I don't care.  We're all on the honor system here.

But everyone "proving" who has the best roster is getting tired.

There's got to be some way we can package Dukes and Guzman plus cash for A. Cabrera

Nats... but we already have the Marquis bet going.

I've never said the Indians would have the better record.

All I said was the team had more talent than the Nats.

Is arguing that our team isn't quite as bad as you team rock bottom for a fan base?

I'm not betting crap if it comes to betting the Nats will have a better record than any fricking team.  The Indians suck, yet they'll STILL finish with a (slightly) better record than the Nats because the Nats will bone it.  They're the Nats.  They'll start out 3-15 and claw and scratch to attempt to go .500 for the remaining 144 games of the season.

Besides, I laughed at Linty saying the Indians were "far better" or whatever the hell he said, which is just preposterous.

I'll gladly bet him that the Nats will be within 7 games of the Indians.

No?

It's a no brainer that the Nats are going to have a better season than either of those teams.
That's not true. Indians have a ton more talent than the Nats do.

Its not really close.

Looks like a pretty clear cut rebuttal to me.

I read PANats wrong.

Obviously why I said 'That's not true. Indians have a ton more talent than the Nats do."

If I thought they'd win more games I would have said 'That's not true. The Indians will win a ton more."

Spin it any way you want, his assertion was very clear, and you asserted that it wasn't true.  Untrue binary assertion = only one option.

Because we're bored too and our TV options are Kentucky/South Carolina basketball or The Biggest Loser.

I am also bored. Girlfriend not around tonight... so I'm practicing another hobby of mine... arguing for the sake of arguing.

Very childish on my part I might add.

Hah, not boring for me.  Terps with their 4th win in conference, crushing Miami, while the Caps are enjoying a drama-free 3rd period with a 6-2 lead over the Islanders.  And I'm going to be enjoying tomorrow night's game in DC vs. Anaheim in a corporate fatcat suite. :worship:

Make that 7-2 Caps.     :woop:   What an offense!

Yeah, you strawman/sportsfanned the freak out of that one :lmao: I never said the Nats had a better roster. I'm not mad, no worries.

I think Morgan will be the most valuable CF this season, and he was for the 46 games he played for DC last year.

Is a better season place in the division, or record? Finishing strong, or overall # of wins? How about developing prospects. It's debatable unless they make the playoffs.
