Finally got back to Dead Space 2 on Friday (was like a chapter in) and just beat it today. Damn that game was fun. Might be my game of the year so far - Battlefield 3 will probably take that spot.

YESSSSSSSS!

Did they really go with Freddy and Jason as DLC? That's so freaking awesome.

Trailer is up!

Chief... come on... he looks awesome!

Haven't seen anything about Jason but Freddy is indeed a DLC, coming August 9th:

says final MK DLC, so I'm guessing no Jason as they already did Skarlet, Kenshi and Rain.

You know he looks awesome to play as.

Plus, with the Warner Bros license... he just makes sense for the universe.

The only bad thing I see is that Freddy is based off the re-make, not the original version.

Recently started playing Black Ops online. Damn I suck and the learning curve is incredibly steep, especially for me considering I haven't played any iteration since COD: Modern Warfare came out. If you're looking for cheap kills, look no further than Terpfan76  :| :icon_frown:

I think I've finally given up on the COD franchise.  MW2 was really, really fun, even the single player but COD:BO was just a drag all the way around.  The MP was probably the worst with nothing but 13 year old honkies calling each other "pakis" (UK kids) and the n-word.  I even heard one of these donks call the other a "chicken freaker", which was pretty funny.

I try to get in to games with coworkers. I also don't wear a headset so that helps and hinders at the same time. Fortunately, I didn't pay for the game, a close friend gave it to me because he also had it on PC.

I bought Fallout 3, and both Mass Effect games on Steam a week or so ago, I might try out Fallout tonight.

Anyone else on Steam?

I love Bethesda. They are easily my favorite publisher/developer, but I absolutely could not get into Fallout 3 for some reason. I tried and tried, but I just got bored with it. I guess I just like the fantasy setting of the Elder Scrolls games better.

I'm kind of looking forward to this game coming out:

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/117/1172439p1.html

It's a downloadable game for the PS3. It's being described as Left 4 Dead with cops and robbers.

Been playing Civilization V. Pretty damn good game.
Worth the pricetag if you've never played a Civ game before?
Oh, hell yes. I had never played one. Be warned, though, it is extremely addicting.

If you do get it, I recommend looking through this strategy guide:

http://mycheats.1up.com/view/superguide/3173057/sid_meier_s_civilization_v/pc

Helped me out a ton.
I've really been wanting to get this game.
Civ V is on sale on Steam this weekend, 66% off which makes it $17.00, or $20.40 for the deluxe version, which includes some of the DLC from what I understand.

I'm considering it, though I've never played any Civ games in my life.

Oh, and MDS + Linty, it is Mac compatible FWIW.

I might grab it, but I'm gonna take the weekend to think it over and maybe try the demo.

Finally started my replay of Mass Effect 2. I started this replay a year ago and never got around to it. The game came out around January 24th 2010. When I was playing it yesterday I noticed my save file said 9/2/2010. I was like, oh so I haven't played this since September of 2010. Then when I saved my file it saved like 4/8/2011... I was then shocked I haven't touched Mass Effect in over a year and a half.
