Amen, man. 2 Earned runs in 6 starts. Averaging 11 K's per game. He is the sole difference in the Royals early success. (Without him, they are below .500). Wow!

The kid is unreal, watching the highlights on The World Wide Leader this morning I really liked how he would brush the hitters off the plate then work the outer half of the plate, his curveball is nasty. The kid is sick.

Definitely. Adam Jones has turned the corner. He is a bona-fide stud now.

Dan Haren had a 1.37 ERA and a 0.74 WHIP coming into today's game, but somehow he's only 3-3.

Lack of offense in the first three games, also him not going deep enough in the game. His last three starts have been great (at least one CG) though.

that's why wins are the most meaningless stat for a starter

if we don't take 3 of 4 we suck donkey balls. their lineup is worse than Arizona's. Their pitching staff is a joke other than Maholm and he got his ass beat today.

I really wouldn't be surprised if both the Nats and the O's are WS contenders a few years from now.

He was horrible last year. It's strange when the switch flips like that.

If you're assessing how good a pitcher is, wins are absolutely one of the worst metrics.
