Oddly enough, he had great peripherals last year, which indicated that he could really be that good for a while, but I still had a hard time buying that he was an elite pitcher.

It's no surprise if he falls way back to earth this year.

Speaking of falling down, CC Sabathia sure earned his paycheck against the Orioles.

that was ugly by CC today.

Did you guys see Motte's 2 out meltdown in St. Louis? Had a 4-2 lead with 2 outs in the ninth inning and then gave up 4 runs.

Sending Chris Perez down was such a stupid move by the Cards. I hate the options game.

Lou is awesome. How many managers would take out their starter in that situation? I like ballsy managers.

He had a 13.50 ERA through his first four starts last year. He'll probably be fine.

I think Iannetta's going to be an All-Star for years to come. That dude can hit. Pretty damn good fielder, too.

Living in CA, the ESPN broadcast of the Angels-A's game is blackouted.  Who is doing the broadcast of the Angels-A's game, for ESPN?

Yes, I'm asking because I am an autograph collector.

Maybe not.  He might be truly burnt out this year.

With a 3-0 lead after 6 innings, local boy Joe Saunders from northern VA HS and Va Tech leaves Opening Day to a standing ovation from the fans of Fairfax County at Los Angeles at Anaheim and Virginia.
