Swift scoring against KC is ironic.

I like our Kelce/Swift duo best.

This is the most one-sided 7-7 game I’ve ever seen. Pachecho having his way against Philly and Mahomes doing things only Mahomes can do.

Punt return coverage killing the Eagles again just like in the Super Bowl.

So Chiefs getting a big rush and blitzing so Eagles coordinator calling all long pass plays.  Then an RPO on third and one.  Sheesh.

Can’t touch Mahomes at the end of the game. Automatic 15.

They didn’t want to call that against Mahomes but realized they had to.

This is why you play two halves. Chiefs dominated the first. Eagles dominated the second. Just too many dropped passes for KC to win.

Valdez-Scanlon and Watson had one job.

Like the Super Bowl.  Chiefs should have put them away in the third quarter.  The Kelce fumble was key. He is lost without Taylor.  Poor guy. He will have to retire once she dumps him.  Luckily she will write a song about him that he can play over and over.

Should have kept Tyreek Hill.  Their AFC competition this year is much weaker though. Buffalo is weak. Cincy is cooked without Burrows. Baltimore always fades down the stretch.

Top 4 AFC teams right now are Baltimore, KC, Jacksonville, and Cleveland.  I wouldn't count KC or Baltimore out in the SB, but this year really should come down to SF and Philly in the NFC title game. I don't see anyone beating SF so long as they don't get decimated by injuries.

Note to Shanahan. Don’t want to get your QBs killed?  Trying blocking the defensive line.  As bad as Hurts played tonight they will have the QB advantage over SF.  Preview in 2 weeks.  Don’t sleep on Detroit.

Credit to the Iggles. Chiefs made to look good, in the first half, by what looked like the weakest Iggles performance of the season. Game was a perfect summation of our season - superb defence and wayward offence. Too many dropped catches, red zone turnovers, penalties. Once the Iggles finally got going, we were shut-out in the second half...  ,We'll see the post-season, but it won't be our year...

The receivers remind me of some of the Andy Eagle teams. Like Todd Pinkston or James Thrash as your featured guys.  Kelce seems to have lost a step.  I think there Super Bowl appearances and two titles in recent years had them holding on to draft picks at the deadline rather than getting receivers.  With Mahomes and that defense they still have a chance.

They paid Mahomes and you can’t keep everyone. The Bengals will have the same problem with their receivers starting next year

Need to restructure Mahomes contract as the Patriots did many times with Brady.

Edit. I see they just restructured again this year.  Upwards. If he doesn’t have the receivers he might realize that more money for himself is not the best thing for winning.  Same for these other dudes. Or they need to hit on some draft picks.

Brady got to a point where he didn't care about the money. He also never got that final extension on the way out. I think most players don't get to that point. Mahomes has two Super Bowl wins, I'm not sure a pay cut for more winning is something he would ever do.

Maybe so.  Their defense has gotten so good that they may make the Suoer Bowl even with a subpar offense compared to their standards over the past few years.

Anyone else getting Brady-vibes watching Purdy play?  Very similar styles of play.

Helps that Baltimore is their only real afc competition with Burrow and Watson hurt. Maybe Houston now too?
