Helps that Baltimore is their only real afc competition with Burrow and Watson hurt. Maybe Houston now too?

Houston has the most valuable thing in the NFL- a great QB on a rookie contract. The should be a competitor shortly

Jets showing why you don't throw a hail mary at the end of the half.  99 yard INT return for a TD by Miami to end the 2nd quarter, that followed the Jets intercepting Tua on the previous play.

Anyone else getting Brady-vibes watching Purdy play?  Very similar styles of play.

Not really, and I love Purdy.   Brady a legit 6’5 with a rocket arm.   Purdy is maybe 6’2 with good mobility.   He reminds me more of Drew Brees

The nfl really ought to consider not playing the second half of the giants-patriots game and just awarding a win via coin flip.

Watching this Pats @ Giants game reminds me of the Tom Petty song, "Yer So Bad."

I’m starting to think Brady was the reason for the Lombardis.

Jalen Hurts paying homage to Alabama with the last TD. What a game he’s having.

Eagles - Bills was fantastic. The Bills are in a lot of trouble at 6-6.

Goes to show how much Bill is damaging his legacy at this point.  Dude should have hung 'em up before last season.  10-7 and a playoff appearance with Mac Jones is a sufficient high note to end on.  Instead, he hangs on and sets fire to everything.

I still think he's a better coach than a lot of people are portraying him as right now.  Remember that this is one of only two coaches to get double digit wins out of Vinny Testes-verde, and that was before New England.

Speaking of coaches who have been hanging on way past their usefulness: Sean McDermott is just riding off those two 13-win seasons at this point.  He might as well be Jim Zorn when the playoffs start.  Probably the luckiest coach I've ever seen aside from maybe Norv Turner when he was coaching the Chargers.

I think he was a good coach and just isn’t sharp or hungry enough to overcome a mediocre qb anymore. His staffs seem like angry fossils which can’t be helping. If Kraft lets him draft a qb, I’m predicting bust

Like Rizzo, keep promoting somebody until they’re totally incompetent.

Very fortunate Iggles - for the second week running, a win off the back of the opposition missing what should have been the game winning touchdown... ;)

Chiefs continue their season of offensive frustration - it's a while since they went over three consecutive quarters without scoring (how times change...), and more red-zone concerns. It's a comment, on this seasons AFC, that we're still in the hunt for top seed...

I did not see much of the game. Watched the extended highlights.  Eagles defense was shredded all day although they had some injuries. And the Bills were a desperate bunch.  Need to play better Sunday. The Eagles next two opponents each have the extra rest after playing on Thursday.  Thanks NFL.

The Eagles seem to be a team of destiny right now. They shouldn't have even tied the game after the back-to-back motion penalties on Kelce that swiftly moved them backwards ten yards. That kicker probably would have missed that kick 9 out of 10 times. That TD pass that Hurts threw into the back of the end-zone while he was running for his life was just incredible.

Jake never misses in the clutch. Kick would have been good from 65. You have blocked from your memory that he beat the Giants with a 61 yard kick in 2017.

Yes. He is Jake.

Fired in back to back seasons, that’s really a hell of an achievement.

almost as much as the great second half comeback he led.
Carolina is a real mess.  They’re going through coaches like Zsa Zsa went through husbands.
