I heard yesterday on the radio there have been at least 4 new teams in the playoffs every year. Some years the playoffs were expanded but in general that also means 4 teams out from the prior year. I think Minny and the Giants miss it with Detroit and the Rams getting in. Think Buffalo and Cincy are out in the AFC with the Jets and Steelers in.
A few games to play but I might have nailed this one for scepter for the Jets.

Eagles sign Shaq Leonard.  Can’t hurt. He had to be smiling yesterday as his price kept going up every time SF scored.

apparently the Jets want to bring Zack Wilson back and he's balking at the idea due to injury risk (i guess knowing he's going to get cut at year's end).

At last - a good MNF game. Tough for the Jags - if Lawrence's ankle is just sprained then he's been lucky, given how it looked on camera (ugh...). Events, in the AFC, seem to be conspiring to somehow keep the Chiefs in it... ;)

Noticable aside - the MNF coverage is shown FTA, over here, but with NFL Network personnel, all of whom were wearing Jags apparel, knowing that this was UK coverage (remember those official 'London Jaguars' flags... ;) ).

I thought exactly the same thing, when it showed their franchise QB limping along...

Well it was a nice two thirds of the season for the Eagles.  Just no defense and the offense can’t score touchdowns. Pitiful.  I don’t think they can even beat the Giants.

Disappointing to see Mahomes getting so petulant over a clear penalty - how many more times is Toney going to give away needless penalties? The wayward offence continues - should have had the game put to bed long before the closing drive. At least we'll now see if Mahomes is truly one of the greats - he'll have to come back from the first back-to-back losses for three seasons, and face his first play-off games on the road, if the Chiefs make the post-season...

He’s really turned into a whiny nag this year. Think the lack of receivers is getting to him. At least you guys don’t get blown out every week.

Giants facing a dilemma - one game out of a playoff spot, and top-5 draft pick right now.

So, next Sunday, we have an underperforming team, with a wayward offence, playing the Patriots..    ;).

So sometimes the Monday night games are on ESPN+ and sometimes not. Don’t see any rhyme or reason to it. Both are on tonight.

Justin Herbert done for the year.

Teams really need two starting QBs right now.

Poor chargers will just have to find a way to lose without Herbert

I was watching the end of the other game and saw it was 27-13 Miami.  So figured that was over. Meowser will be strutting his stuff today.

Purring with delight - he was already pleased that, over here, coverage included both games (during a break in play, coverage would swap to the other game). Like you , I thought it was game over, and was letting someone know about it. Hoist by my own petard...   ;)
