Dukes is going to be a little more popular after tonight. ESPN loves this type of stuff.

I understand Pelfrey b!tched out, but Dukes does need to settle down a bit.  It's okay to play with emotion and passion, but be careful b/c we need your bat.  Some of the celebrations after his walk offs/homers/big plays have been controversial.

And I love how Manny went racing out there to calm him down.
Lenny Harris did too.  Amazing that he actually found a purpose.

Dude this season is junked so it doesn't really matter.

Also, Pelfrey was a nag until he felt safe being shielded by Brian "he calls a darn good game" Schneider, the umpire and Acta.

The only props I give Pelfrey is that he actually threw (although he was scared to actually hit him) at the hitter he had an issue with as opposed to going after a teammate. He's still a nag though.

verizon and at&t cingular have horrible commercials.  These dead zone verizon ads and twins losing signal cingular commercials just make me cringe.

Odalis Perez deserves to be taken out back and shot. 7 runs, and he is still in the game? We have up to 40 on our roster, you'd think we'd have some extra.

that puny nag Pelfrey was probably pissing his pants once Dukes started to confront him.

It's all good right now but he better not go much further. I'd hate to see it escalate into something more serious.

i thought a BCB was about to erupt. Dukes would be a one man wrecking crew, but i obviously rather have him continue to be a one man wrecking crew offensively.

damnit Levale. He's not doing himself any favors with his pitching since being called up.

Yeah, but reacting to the opposing fans (which, IMO, a player should NEVER do) shows that they're getting to you. It's a sign of weakness more than anything.

I haven't seen Speigner pitch this season.

After walking 2 batters, I STILL don't think I've seen him pitch...

Dukes got out  of control but hes a beast, at least nothing happened too serious like the Hunter - Pudge fight etc etc..

The energy fueled him to get a double, good of him, just needs to control it more into his playing skill. Sure that "suck-it" crotch chop was unecassary but he did it right before he got into the dug out, im sure not alot of people saw (unless it was on the scoreboard)

Hopefully it doesnt get out of hand for him, I guess hes just used to it seems like a football atmosphere were you celebrate after you get a touchdown (homerun). Hope he doesnt start doing this more often, because it seems the tables turned, earlier this season he was getting on the Mets head, but now its getting to him.

Still love the guy though

if God doesn't hate the Nats the Mets bullpen will implode, and give up the tying run on a HR by Dukes.
