Dumb play by Milledge.  Throw to second and keep the double play in order right there.

haha it could be anyone in center and i would stick up for him on that.  you have power hitters up you have to play deep.  trust me, coming from someone that's played outfield for some good time.

Doesn't mean you are/were good at it.

GET MILLEDGE OUT OF CENTER FIELD.

DUKES NEEDS TO PLAY CENTER WHERE HE'S A NATURAL.

MILLEDGE IS A MONSTROSITY IN CENTER.

lol okay.
Don't let your wood for Milledge get in the way here.  He is a mediocre defensive CF at this juncture.  Hopefully he improves with time.

This team pisses you off to no avail.

Can't stand it. Acta needs to learn to teach this team fundamentals in the worst way.

dumb jerk. Rivera is an idiot. He relies on people chasing his crap that he throws in the dirt. He always throws a ton of pitches out of the zone.

Schneider puts the game away. How fitting.

freak YOU SAUL RIVERA! Way to take a dump on the mound after a great comeback by the offense. Have fun pitching in the Minors next year!

SMFH.

Dukes could only fuel this team for so long before they fizzled out.

You idiot I'm not sticking up for Milledge.  I'm sticking up for any centerfielder and I made note of that.  When your outfield alignment is set to play deep than you are in to play deep.  I have never called Milledge an elite centerfielder and i never called him our best defensive outfielder on the team.

I was the first one to make note that it was Milledge's fault the other day when he dropped a fly ball.  But for AZ and posters on here to blame him on the pickoff attempt is ludicrous.

we should put Dukes in the outfield by himself.  he can cover the entire outfield all by himself, right AZ?

Maybe if we we ever had something to cheer about and people other than the diehards actually cared about the team.

i don't doubt it. Dukes is a natural in center, and to be wasting his instincts and athleticism in right field is asinine.

with all that said, Milledge *does* need to move in.

if you don't want to put that on Milledge, then it is on Manny for positioning him there.

Manny needs to move him in.  does that sit better with your pro-milledgeness, Hammonds?
