damn, Lastings has hit two scorchers but nothing to show for it.
Yep.  Great night to have him started on my fantasy team. :? I didn't remember to adjust my line-up.  At least Dukes got me a HR.

Yeah, but I thought you might have changed your mind since you said you didn't mind if we lost tonight.

No I haven't changed my mind. I just refuse to get angry anymore this season.

Anyone think the mets will throw at one of our hitter over what Dukes did after he hit his bomb?
Maybe if they are blowing us out late in the game. I didn't think Dukes did anything that bad? Dude just likes to have fun.

I don't mind it now. He better not do that stuff once people actually know who he is, though.

I agree. I'm fine with that sort of thing, even if it's done against us. But the soft ass sensitive nature of baseball players will probably feel disrespected and want to retaliate.

DETAILS.

He blew a kiss at the mets dugout on his way to 1st base.

AZ used caps on that question. You can sense his urgency in getting the down low on what Dukes had done.

Fair enough. I still get a little ticked when we lose bad games but nothing like I normally would during earlier in the season.

I bet AZ wishes he were in the Mets' dugout.

Way too easy.  I really should've just laid off.

How did Bob+Ray know he was blowing the kiss at the Mets' dugout? It could have been directed toward the crowd maybe?

because Dukes turned to the Mets dugout when he did it.  it was obvious.

That's true but when I went back to see it again it was clear that he did it at least in their direction and knowing Dukes, that's exactly what he was doing. Like I said, I'm cool with it but some people (even here) will take offense.

I don't mind it now. He better not do that stuff once people actually know who he is, though.

What is the reasoning behind this?

Poor, poor walk of Church in front of their dangerous hitters. That sucks.

Stuff like this makes these game threads so much better even when the Nats are playing like crap against the hated Mets.

Carpenter should be nicknamed Captain Obvious. he has the uncanny skill of stating the obvious. :?
He should be nicknamed Captain Nathan's for his ability to share in eating hot dogs with Nats fans.

bullcrap. He paid no attention whatsoever to Reyes. Not like he's paying attention to the batter either as he's made 2 garbage pitches to Wright.

Plain and simple, I hate Perez.
Ugh, he's so bad at holding baserunners that not even Nieves can throw out Reyes at third.
