Potomac Nats clobber Wilmington today 10-3. Adrian Alaniz gets the win (6-0) with 3 runs in 5.1 IP keeping his ERA to a respectable 2.85. Not terribly sharp, and I suspect he'll stay put for at least one more start. But with a record like his, a move to Harrisburg next week wouldn't be too surprising.
Newly promoted closer Martin Beno (from Hagerstown) looked good for his first high A appearance (1 IP 1 BB 1 SO). Keep any eye on him. HR's by Bynum, Diaz and Leonard Davis. A four run 1st inning was too much offense for Wilmington to over come. Baez 3 for 4 / Rogelstad 2 for 5 / Marrero (HBP) 0 for 3 / Lowrance 2 for 5 with 3 RBI's.
