Fran is far from pathetic, he's a grade A ball player.
Nope.  If you don't throw him strikes you can get him out all night long.  I get so pissed off when we give up a hit to him.  Chico has pitched him perfectly tonight.  Francoeur has chased at least 3 balls tonight that were neck high.

That was scary, i had a feeling AJ was gonna bomb one. I don't care what his average is, he's still a huge threat.

What if Dmitri had cool shoes, or cool hair, or stuck out his tongue a lot? OK...I'll stop now.

Great job, Matt!!! 5 straight scoreless innings and he has also registered a quality start.

You two do realize that we would have broken that loss record had Dmitri not been where he has been ALL SEASON, right?

He's on a bad streak right now, but come on, 8th?! I would like Wily Mo to get a chance to bat cleanup, though.

But at #4, he's doing REALLY badly now.  I'm not willing to sacrifice that vital position in the lineup.  He either needs to sit or not bat #4.  Why is batting later in the lineup seen as such an insult especially if you're not hitting well?  Dimitri knows he's not hitting well, right now.  Frankly, he should welcome it!

I'll go for that PC. But who would you suggest bat cleanup?

Because he's by far been our best hitter this season. I don't like him batting #4 either (I never did, actually), but his production is needed higher up in the lineup. #8 makes no sense because, frankly, it means less ABs for the guy w/ the best average on the team.

Don't know.  We don't really have anyone who fills the bill, right now.

Jesus Flores is so damn good!  He is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.  I think he is going to be a STAR once we are a good team.

Yeah I agree. Even NJ isn't suited for that slot if you ask me.
