When Ronnie hits a homerun and a single, the fact that Lopez hasn't gotten on base becomes more apparent.  :(

...and a double by Ryan highlights it just a little more.

This makes you realize how big these games are for the Braves right now. We wouldn't have a meeting w/ the pitcher if we were in their position. We'd just be happy to be winning at this point.

Dmitri Young struck out twice by Chuck James tonight..

Dmitri needs to sit out the rest of the year.  Let Tony play 1B.

Kearns crushed that one.. stupid RFK.  only 9 more games left in this disaster of a stadium.

Kearns would've had two homers tonight in most other parks :?

That's his only chance to win the batting title.  Sit for the rest of the season and hope everyone else collapses around him.

How many bombs has RFK robbed other teams to help out our pitchers?

a bunch I'm sure.. but I think our hitters need much more help than our pitchers.

Great snag by Ryan but wtf was up with the throw?

Nothing was "up" about that throw. He's young. He'll definitely fix that. Not an easy fix, though. I'm sure that will be the focus of his offseason.

Wily Mo with a double!  If he can learn how to be more patient during the offseason I think he'd be a great LF for us next season.

Man, when he's swinging like that, he looks like he could be GREAT!...and even more than just a power threat.

QFT He needs to get a better sense of the strike zone and pitch recognition. I think with solid coaching (and he seems to be taking to Harris) and experience he will come around.

James out of the game

Can you imagine if Acta has that sort of trigger with our staff  Our bullpen would be armless by now.

Plus, he seems like he could be that great clubhouse guy everyone seems to like having around here. Leaves no reason to keep Fick around :)

You should see Piniella at work. He's crazy w/ his pitching changes.

Leave it to you to find a way to get rid of Fick by using Peña
