Not the best inning there, but at least we're hitting this guy. Flores has really made a name for himself this season. I hope he gets more opportunities next season.

He really may be better off starting in AAA so he can play every day for a couple months or so.

True. He'd probably prefer it...but just for a little while.

good lord... lead-off walk in front of all these power hitters.  He's just asking for trouble.

Chico's NOT a guy that can afford to walk guys. Come on, Matt!

That's frustrating to me. How hasn't Chico gotten his release point down by now? I just don't get that.

That's mostly a lefty issue, at least in my opinion. See Mike O'Connor.

I'd have them both watching some Glavine and Johan videos day and night.

way to buckle down Matt.  The Braves offense is a tad overrated.  The only hitters I'm afraid of on their team is Chipper, Teixeira, and Renteria.

man **** Felipe.. Just look at him.  He looks like he could care less.  0/2 tonight on 3 pitches! And he's batting LEADOFF!!! Manny idolizes him for some reason.

Neither Jones?

I mean look at Ronnie Belliard.  You know he is giving his all every night.  He works the count, plays good defense, etc. Felipe is the exact opposite of Ronnie.

btw, this ump is giving Chuck James' ankle high strikes

When Ronnie hits a homerun and a single, the fact that Lopez hasn't gotten on base becomes more apparent.  :(

U know what I think it is...last weekend, Saturday night...Belly hit a laser liner at Chuck and James luckily snatched it one of those "LOOK WHAT I FOUND" catches...and Chuck kinda gloated and Ronnie was furious. Next ab, Belly blasted a HR. So, i think Belly is not fond of James.

When Zimmerman consistently keeps his head down, he's unstoppable. He needs to do that EVERY time.

NICE!
