Phillies whole lineup went cold except for Harper and Castellanos. Basically 2014 all over again.
Bullpen was ass also.

Fifth worst ERA in a playoff series in baseball history.

Dodgers move on. Outstanding pitching performances tonight.

Manfred has to be giddy right now.

Our boy Blake Treinen closed it out. This is shaping up as a classic Dodgers/Yankees World Series or New York Subway series. If the Tigers get in that would be special to me also since I've liked them since 1968.

I don't think a Dodgers-Yankees WS would be good for the game IMO... Big money with no salary cap is destroying mid-market teams and their fanbases...

Sad for the Padres, great fan base, great ballpark, great season.

So 3 out of the 4 LCS teams are the top 3 payrolls.

Kudos to the Dodgers and Guardians. Backs against the wall and they came through. Don’t think the Dodgers can keep getting that pitching but if they do no one will stop them.

on mlb network, I think Plesac said that, at the time of the Thomas trade, his rep was as a lefty killer, which was a big need for Cleveland. Said that was a lower level trade, and that they were criticized for not doing more, but that the deal addressed a playoff need

Looks like it will actually be a series. Dodgers ran out of bullpen luck.
