The end may be nigh for my dearest Yadiel  :rites:

YadiStar can hit, still. He'll be back.

Tonight’s game is actually on MASN. Same announcers as last year?

I think so.

Here’s the lineup for Josiah Gray:

1. Lane Thomas (R) RF
2. CJ Abrams (L) SS
3. Alex Call (R) LF
4. Keibert Ruiz (S) C
5. Luis Garcia (L) DH
6. Jeter Downs (R) 2B
7. I. Vargas (S) 3B
8. Matt Adams (L) 1B
9. Erick Mejia (S) CF

Jeter Downs stinks out loud. I see no reason why they sent Alu down and kept Downs up so far. Maybe they're keeping him in camp trying to fix him but no way he should go north.

I think Downs is just filler. He won't be with the Nats. Alu will play, and hit, everyday at Rochester. And Alu will be back.

Vargas is the backup at short. I think it's more likely that M Adams or Chavis stick in the 26th player slot

Vargas is the short term backup. Should Abrams need to go to the IL, Downs will be called up to play SS

Oh MASN.  They flashed the defense from last season.  Scared me.

Am I the only one who thinks the scoreboard bug looks ghetto as crap? Like, did they steal a 24 second clock from the NBA or something?

I like it cause it’s big. Good for my old eyes. I am sure MASN pulled out all the stops. Spare no expense.

But the breaking stuff is still legit.

If he wants to play with the cutter in ST, fine. But as soon as the season starts, he basically needs to adopt Lance McCuller's approach and be mostly offspeed.

We kid.

We love you having money.

Red curly W jerseys look great, so much better than the home whites with the Nationals script, hope they wear them more.

Love the pitch clock on the screen.  Liked it in person too, went to a ST game in Arizona this week and it was done in 2:15 with a good pace.
