Well, if we are all going to waste the next 7 or 8 months following this team, of course it is interesting. Also exasperating, annoying, and a general affront to the senses, but yeah, other than that, interesting

I figure with his passing and the HOF, they may retire it. So far:

The Phillies have retired numbers for six players, including Schmidt (#20), Carlton (#32), Ashburn (#1), Roberts (#36), and Jim Bunning (#14); the sixth retired number is Jackie Robinson's #42, which was retired throughout baseball in 1997.

If you’re a regular poster on this forum, you clearly give a crap who will be in right field on opening day. But the day to day machinations of this saga are tiresome. I Can see someone preferring not to engage.
